Saint Catherine of Alexandria Parish Church

The municipality of Santa was formerly called Santa Catalina de Alexandria, Virgen y Martir, after the town’s patron saint Saint Catherine of Alexandria. This is our church where people of Santa are spiritually molded.

THE PARK IS BUILT ON A HILLY TERRAIN WITH THE BEACH ON ONE SIDE AND THE FOREST AT THE OTHER SIDE.

THERE ARE COTTAGES HERE WHERE YOU CAN HAVE PICNIC WITH YOUR FRIENDS AND LOVED ONES. THE PARK IS AWAY FROM THE NOISY STREETS AND CROWDED COMMUNITIES. IT IS JUST A PLAIN PARK THAT WILL SURELY REPLENISH YOUR SOUL WITH REFRESHMENT.

Santa, officially the Municipality of Santa, is a 4th class municipality in the province of Ilocos Sur, Philippines. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 15,340 people.

Barangay Magsaysay is only barangay among the 26 barangays who has its own unique beauty. It is the center of all industry in our town and has its own capability to develop its own.

Magsaysay, which is near to the sea, it must have seawalls to resist from full force of waves and storm surge .

Due to Santa’s natural setting , “The mountain in the east, the winding roping river in the north, and the immense sea in the west make Santa a poetic town.
