Outstanding article because you recognize the scope of the change in human behaviors and mindset due to the internet-of-things. I see more and more folks trying to capitalize on the innovators by attempting to guide them, support them with funding, and ultimately purchase or assimilate them. But in the end, isn’t that just creating more monopolies and giants? All the start ups are great but as soon as they become a threat they get bought. It seems to me the trick is to avoid detection until you are ready to explode in growth/notoriety/deployment. Whatever that catalyst is that causes that growth spurt is your magic bullet.
