I see nothing here about the high demand for SKILLED labor…? Sure all the things touched on above are great, but still only apply to a pretty specific type of job you may want. Skilled labor is in such decline across the country, but NOBODY talks about it. There is a HUGE lack of basic knowledge on how to certain jobs: HVAC, plumbing, carpenter…
I see nothing about a SKILL. All of these are good to get a job in offices. Not so good in repairing and installing anything. Skilled workers are needed as most skilled workers are now retiring. An MBA is OK until something needs repairs and no one is left that knows how to physically repair it.
From what I know this current world…the situation it has coupled with technology replacing human interactions and smaller/lesser families by 2020 a lot a lot more people will be depressed or have increased mental issues. (Perhaps more issues for women)
As a result there would be huge demand for therapists and psychologists
Beautifully concise view of the future with some highly relevant points.
I think many are either struggling to adapt or unable to see what’s coming and could be in for a surprise come 2020.
We’ve hit the information age that requires rapid adaptability!
