The Roses On the Dresser

The roses on the dresser,

Remind me of you,

I look at them,

And think,

Of how I would leave them for you.

When I knew you were feeling bad,

I would leave them for you,

When you were feeling sad,

I would leave them for you.

I would leave them,

Just to let you know,

You are not alone.

I would leave them,

Because I wanted to show,

That you are special,

And I can’t always say,

Why that is,

In the right way.

So now I leave them,

On my dresser at night,

And think of the times,

When they made things alright.
