Live The Lux Life

The best way I can describe something so deep in real estate is to actually think about how you feel when you are moving. Once you hang that last picture and you curl up in your bed and take that deep breath. Finally… I’m settled in my new home.

But let’s fast forward to what you lived in before.

Let take this for example… You’re living in a home that is under going renovations in the kitchen. People are coming and going constantly, nails on the floor and loud banging around for hours. You know it will end soon but still a pretty stressful start. A few month go by and you get in a huge fight with your “person.” Weeks of disagreeing with each other to finally end the relationship. On top of dealing with a break up, you have plenty of stressful days at work and wishing each day to fly away. You’re living that “mediocre” life. Working a 9–5 everyday, going to the gym to blow of some steam, coming home to cook, watch a show and go to bed just to do the same shit over the next day. Constantly wishing for the weekend to get here sooner than later. The weekends fly by just do to the work week over and over again. Your life is on auto pilot and you’re just rolling through the motions.

But what you don’t realize is that you’re creating energy within your space. You’re filling it with whatever feelings you feel the most. So with the above example of life, this home is trapped with a lot of emotions that can’t escape the walls you live in. It’s literally stuck with no way out. Which in turn effect your mood and your wellbeing everyday.

I remember there was time that I would bring home all my stress from work. I would dwell on clients and focus on how much work I would put in to get nothing in return. Friends promising you that they would hire me to be their Realtor and in turn waste your time and use someone else. Then I am stuck wondering when and where my next paycheck was coming from to feed CoCo and Jimmy Dean. (The life of a sales agent. Loll) After living in a house for 3 years it was time for a change. A new energy. A new beginning.

But back to the original story…

After living in the same home for so long, many changes happen through out the year or even years. Some of us have really good years where they are full of WINS and then there are some of us that really struggle with life events that can create unwanted energy and you need that “something” to uplift you. Most of the time I hear people looking for a “fresh start.”

So let’s go back to that deep breath you just had after hanging your last photo on the wall in your new place….

You’re finally settled in to your new place you can call home. Sky is the limit now. You’re in control of what energy comes into you new home. This is your fresh start to a new chapter in life. Now that you’re aware try to fill your home with positive thoughts and energy and leave the drama at the door.

That is exactly what I love about my job. I help people find their new beginnings. This is the true meaning of “Live the Lux Life.”

So with that who wants me to list their house or help them find an new apartment? Luxlocators.com
