I enjoyed this, Gutbloom!

When my brother and I were kids, he got a notion to make chicken-and-dumplings at my grandmother’s house where we were left unsupervised. He threw some Campbell’s chicken noodle soup in a pot, turned it on high, then dropped in some Hungry Jack refrigerated biscuit dough. It’ll come as no suprise that we were sorely disappointed with the results.

He decided to best way to deal with the mess was to put it a crockpot which had a tight-fitting lid in the far back corner of kitchen cupboard. It was summer time and my grandmother didn’t have A/C. I’m almost positive he was 12 years old at the time.
