Well the week has come, my last few days in Passau are here and going faster than I ever thought they would. Now I’m going to try not to get too sappy but Passau has honestly been one of the best summers of my life. I mean, I’ve gotten to see 10 different countries, 12 different beautiful cities and met so many new people from all over the world. It's been 130 days of pure awesome with a few homesick days in between ;). Everything about Passau I have fallen in love with. The lifestyle, the people, the food, even the classes that I took (and in between traveling actually went to!). The only things I am going to miss start with the letter s: spiders, sirens, and my unbelievable shitty pillow (yes that counts haha). In all seriousness though I am going to miss the lifestyle and the people the most. As I said 12 years ago and 4 years ago, Europe I’m coming back!

It was great that a couple weeks ago already that my mom and sister got to visit me in Passau! I was so excited to share with them the city that I call home this summer. It was a wonderful time of eating ice cream, relaxing, and being with family again.

I count myself lucky, for some people studying abroad in college is the highlight of their college experience. For me it’s different, I am fortunate enough to have this life changing opportunity and still have so much to look forward to when I get home. I cannot say enough about the endless amount of support I have recieved from my family and my friends while being over here. I know when I come home things aren’t going to be the same as they were when I left, they are going to be much better.

I’ve gotten things sorted in piles for packing but that I am saving for Saturday, I have one more final I need to take before I am officially done. But after that I start my next adventure of going home. Starting with a 13 hour train ride to Copenhagen (yippee). After that it’s off to Bergen Norway and Reykjavik Iceland then finally home :).

Not to get too deep on you but now more than ever I understand the phrase “every new beginning comes from some other beginnings end”. So I am going to enjoy my last few days in Passau to the fullest and I will catch you again when I am stateside!! TTFN tata for now!
