Turn You’re Windows 10 Desktop into a Sci-Fi Slideshow

I love the standard Windows 10 desktop images. I don’t know if they are the same for everyone, but mine are mostly sumptuous landscape photo’s punctuated with gorgeous 4K closeups of exotic animals such as apes and parrots. But, pretty as those generic images are, I wanted the opportunity to see some Star Wars and Skyrim fan art, as well as other cool science fiction-y images

So here is how you too can customize the background images that beautify your desktop.

1. Tap the Windows key and type background settings. Press enter.

2. Select Slideshow from the drop-down

3. Click browse

4. Copy the location of your desktop background images folder

5. Open that folder by pressing Windows Key + R and then pasting the location of your desktop background images folderCtrl+v

6. Add images directly to the folder. If you want the ones visible in this post, plus many more, you can download them here. See below for some examples.

7. Remember, you can remove any images from circulation by going back to your desktop background images folder and deleting images that you no longer want to see. Thanks for reading my first Medium post.
