I have a compulsion to rescue these sorts of photos like some people rescue puppies or kittens. If there is the slightest identifying information I take them home and run them through my genealogy grist mill. When I can, I attach them to a find-a-grave (findagrave.com) entry so anyone looking for evidence of that person’s life will run across the photo too.
