When you learn your editorial style from Facebook, you’re bound to wrap even your most salient points in caustic, acidic insults. It’s fun; I get that. But if you are truly addressing an older generation with the goal of greater understanding, you must know all you accomplish is alienating them and making them hold even tighter to their previous conclusions. The fact you insist on using the most pejorative insults possible tells me you’re simply playing to an audience that already agrees with you, while actually making the generational divide worse. Congrats — you are officially part of the problem.
