I personally am not a fan of ANY milk and can agree with the raw milk argument you made above. It makes sense more people would get sick from more bad bacterias being present in raw milk versus pasteurized milk.
BUT?! Cow’s milk is meant for calves, not humans. Commercial milk is one of the most processed things in the American diet. The milk industry has made us believe (and their bottom line depends on it) that milk is the only way we can get calcium and be healthy. Guess what? There are a lot of other ways we can get calcium and be healthy.
My argument is not with raw milk vs. processed milk. It’s with milk in general. What other animal species drinks milk from another species (outside it’s own) past infancy and for life? I don’t know of any, because it isn’t necessary for development once one can eat solid foods. If we were meant to drink milk into adulthood, we would be drinking our mother’s bottled breast milk. AND THAT? Would be weird.
