The Organizers of WebExpo 2018 Prague were kind enough to offer 1 free conference ticket to my followers.
This is how you can win the ticket:
- Comment on this article about 3 talks you want to attend
- Deadline: this Friday (7th of September) 23:59 CET
The lucky winner’ll be determined randomly, I’m going to announce the result on Saturday.
[I run the same giveaway on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, so all the participants’ll be put together, and I’ll randomly select one winner. Please don’t enter on multiple platforms ;) ]
WebExpo Organizers also offered a 10% discount to my followers, use the code “sketching10” (must be inserted in lowercase) at the checkout.

Sketching for UX Designers Course Coupon
I created a $9.99 (89% off) coupon for my Udemy course, Sketching for UX designers for WebExpo participants!
This is the coupon code: UX2018WEBEXPO10 (or just click here to apply it).

Sketchnoting
I encourage you to create sketchnotes of the talks, then share them on social media by using the #webexpo and the #sketchingforux hashtags :)
If you are a beginner sketchnoter, here is a little inspiration for you: the Agile Australia conference invited 11 students to live sketchnote the conference talks, and for many of them it was their first time they tried out sketchnoting! Take a look at their sketchnotes here, their results are really motivating.
Sketchnote at least one talk! You can start by adding just a few icons, visual anchors.
“Sketchnoting — or visual note-taking — is a really effective technique for capturing and distilling notes from conference talks, in a way that plain written notes (or typing on the keyboard) can’t match. Research has always shown that we are more engaged, and have better information retention and recall when using visuals as well as words.”
Here you can check out videos from the previous years, watch some of them and practice your sketchnoting skills! ;)
Meet You There
I’m really looking forward to attending WebExpo 2018, and to meeting like-minded design professionals, conferences are great opportunities for learning from each other!
