The Day I Met an Astrologer

Well at times in life, we end up gathering a set of unanswered questions like what the future holds, why this happened, why that happened, etc., and when this why starts bothering us, we start looking for answers in a quest for some relief, in a hope that we will find an answer that will pacify us and maybe then we will stop looking.
Though I am a staunch believer in Karma, I still believe in fate and I even explored palmistry once upon a time and even read a few hands :P.
Anyway, during one such phase of mine when I was looking for why desperately, I decided to ask the stars because well, humans were not providing me the right answers or the answer that would make me stop looking. But how to find an astrologer who won’t end up fooling me and maybe, just maybe give me a perfect answer to my why and hope for a bright future? Anyway sometimes you get what you are looking for and I crossed my path with a friend who knew an astrologer in the vicinity. I was afraid to go alone, so she offered to tag along and there we went to ask the stars, for our answers. Well, technically we can’t communicate directly so there we go to take the help of a translator, the Astrologer.
When we reached, I was asked for certain inputs like my birth date, city, time, etc. and well now he had input and we were anxiously waiting for the output. Certain graphs were plotted and my future was being written on a sheet of paper. So he started with a personality prediction and moved on to what I can expect in my personal and professional life, summarizing what he said below.
You are a kind soul, eager to help others ,and you have a flourishing career but to balance what was given to you, you will struggle with a dull life. And currently you are going through a tough time due to influence of Shani. Things might improve after 2028.
Ah, the hit I thought and my hypersensitivity kicked in, I started crying there in front of my friend and the astrologer. I asked Can you not do something about it? Why I can’t have both? Or maybe reduce the quota of professional success somehow if it’s because of the status quo? Why is the future so grim?
He smiled and said yes we can reduce the shani influence by following certain practices , let me list that down for you.
Well, I took that sheet of prescription and came back home, but still wondered what if my future actually holds a terrible life, what’s the point of even living then? Or maybe the Astrologer didn’t know enough, he missed something in the calculations, and maybe I should ask for a better one. Then I installed the Astro App and I consulted many astrologers in quest of my answers and for a hope for a bright future. Some did promise an awesome future and while I was obsessed with undoing what I thought was written in stars I ended up spending thousands with no definite conclusion.
Now you might wonder how can I be this stupid, spending thousands on a useless quest. Well you are right, I was stupid. I thought an answer to why would help or hope for a bright future would reduce the current pain. And during better times I would have judged the other person too. I had to learn my lesson and sometimes you can’t learn it unless you experience it. And I thought I would share the lesson below so I can save you some bucks :P
Well my dear, life can’t be planned, you can try to play safe all you want but you will fall at times. And it’s okay if you fall, it’s okay if the light is dim in the moment, and it’s perfectly fine if you can’t figure out why. In the end, you don’t need to know it all , you just have to keep pushing forward and keep improving yourself in every possible way , one day at a time, keep forgiving yourself and others. And believe me when I say that, that light that seems dim right now, will one day shine brighter for you , I promise ❤
