Morgan Spurlock, the award-nominated documentarian who administered his psychological and physical affliction in his 2004, famous “Super Size Me” which showcased him taking McDonald’s daily for a month died on Thursday in upstate New York due to cancer-related complication; he was 53. “Sadly, it was our last day with Morgan Spurlock’s brother Craig; he was an assistant director in a couple of projects I got to work on with him,” he noted.

One of the things that made Morgan such an asset to the world was his generosity that he displayed through his art, ideas, and character. It is with great sadness that I can say that today the world has lost one of the great creative minds as well as being a great man. I could not have felt so proud to have worked together with him. ”Spurlock initially gained fame through his documentary “Super Size Me”, which documented a man’s experiment of eating only food from McDonalds for thirty days; Add to that the restrictions that he couldn’t exercise during the project; he could only eat meat; and, when ordering in McDonalds for instance, he could not decline the “super size” offer if it was offered to him.
