The Coming Invasion of Amazon Omni-channel

Now that the domination of e-commerce channel is complete Amazon seems to be aiming its big guns at Omni-channel commerce. It only makes sense because traditional brick and mortar retail is still 90%+ of overall retail. Our opinion is that Omni-channel is the present and future of retail. It makes sense as intelligent design and location of retail stores has the potential to reduce overall supply chain cost for Amazon. In 20 years when the roads and sky are filled with autonomous cars and transport drones respectively having retail locations will be a strategic advantage.
