HearNow Season 02 Episode 04

This episode has so many fun moments. These songs have been the ever-present soundtrack during all my hangouts this month, so, sorry to my friends who’ve been forced to hear Roosevelt’s Fever a billion times (cc Rob and Enoch).

It’s nice to know that even though we live in an age where at any moment world war three may break out there’s still great music to listen to.

Some of my favorite artists released some strong work this month. Son Lux, Miami Horror, Joe Goddard, RAC, Future Islands, Phantoms, Kendrick Lamar, Nelly Furtado, Younger Lovers and Benjamin Booker just to name a few. Simultaneously I discovered so many great new (to me) artists. Cigarettes After Sex, Overcoats, It’s Different, Amber Mark, Justin Carter, GEMS, Formation and Sammus just to name another few.

During the month of April I listened to 1,242 tracks at an average of 41 tracks per day. That’s 375 artists and 485 albums EPs and singles.

#HearNow Season 02 Episode 04 features 45 tracks, and they’re organized to move from “acoustic” to “amped” in just under 3 hours.
One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?
