Mamba Mentality
Kobe Bryant, one of the greatest players of all time, is also known as one of the competitive. The drive to win, the hunger to score, the tenacity to excel, are all things that Kobe has in his “Mamba Mentality”. He makes a certain face when he enters his Muse Cage and it looks like this.

When Kobe feels he needs to score, he lights a switch in his head. The Mamba Mentality can last for a minute to hit a game winner, or can last for several games. In Kobe’s career he has made 36 game winners and has had 135 40+ point games, 26 50+ point games, 60+ point games, and 1 80+ point game. Those are absurd numbers and once he had a stretch of 4 games where he scored 50+ points in each game. He scored 225 points in only 4 games, which means that he averaged 56.25 PPG in that 4 game streak. To put that into perspective, LeBron James scored 1954 points in this regular season. At Kobe’s rate, he would have scored 1954 points in only 34.74/82 games.
Kobe’s “Mamba Mentality” made him an assasin on the court and made him one of the greatest players that the NBA has ever seen. He is the 3rd All-Time leading scorer and will remain one of the greatest players in history.
