My 3 Favorite High School Basketball Players in the 2018 Class
- Marvin Bagley III
Standing at 7 feet, Marvin Bagley has height, added with a combination of agility and strength. He’s athletic, he can shoot, and he can play defense. He plays for the EYBL Phamily team and he’s a beast. For his high school team he averaged 24.6 PPG and 10.1 rebounds. He is an all around player and a force to be reckoned with.
2. Zion Williamson
At 6'7, people compare his to LeBron James. Even Drake made a custom made jersey of him and wore in in an instagram post. He’s extremely and makes highlight reals which makes him one of the most popular high school basketball players. People just assume because of his dunks that he is only a dunker, but he can shoot decently well, and can finish well around the rim. Since he can jump really high he can block shots and can get back on defense or offense. In the 16–17 season he averaged 36.8 PPG, 13 RPG, and 2.5 BPG. Those stats are absurd but he plays in an under average league. People say he is the next LeBron so we will see how good he will be in the future.
3. Bol Bol
Bol Bol is 7'2 which makes him one of the tallest players in his class. But along with his height, he has an arsenal of shooting and handles. He is skinny and not as strong as Marvin Bagley, but he is taller and is a better shooter. His father, Manute Bol, was the tallest NBA player of all time standing at 7'8. Bol Bol is expected to grow a bit more which can make him a 7'4 Kevin Durant type player which is pretty deadly.
