Day 159: 9/6/2018

Two significant events happened today, the total move-out from our first home in York and my first ever BAAL experience.

We woke up feeling not as fresh as we usually are but our new bed has been great with us so far.

Then we both rushed to go out as we needed to finish our check-out at Foss Studios before P’Gluay’s work time at 11. So we went to have a quick breakfast at Waitrose, which is now right across the street from us, and then directly headed to Fosss Studios. It is somehow such a sad feeling to leave our first home in York. I always felt warm, homey and secured there. However, given the situation that we are in, it is of course a better choice for us to leave there, move to a new cheaper roomier place and save our money at the same and we found that here.

I still love Foss Studios and its hospitality, especially the staff members.

After that I went to York St. John University to attend my first ever BAAL. It was such a fun first day at the conference that is completely different from AAAL in so many aspects in my opinion. I will write more about it tomorrow.
