Why did I choose @Kryptonite?

Ok so to be honest, the blog isn’t really my idea. I’ve been cribbing and crying a lot lately, so my boyfriend thinks I need to “divert my energy” LOL #1.

So here I am, in the middle of a super boring meeting, discussing the same things we discussed 3 months ago, with 0 actions being taken. (LOTS more about this later)

I start thinking, what‘s a good name for a blog? I ask the boyfriend who recommends “BungleBook” So my first question is “What is ‘BungleBook’?”

And he begins to explain,

“It’s just a take on jungle book, but bungle means — failed to complete a task. You can write about fail moments each day like the had one job blog”

LOL #2 So my life has sooo many fails…. Riiiiight.

Anyway, I start going through urban dictionary to decide on a name, and find the most random words that I cannot possibly consider. For example:

Colon Crockpot
When your large intestine has been holding back waste for more than 48 hours and your farts are the leading indicator of what is to come.

WTF? There’s a word(s) for that? Anyway, I start thinking of songs that I like/can relate to and then find “Kryptonite”

So, what is Kryptonite?

From Google:

kryptonite: noun (in science fiction) an alien mineral with the property of depriving Superman of his powers.

The song goes:

If I go crazy then will you still call me Superman?
If I’m alive and well, will you be there holding my hand?
I’ll keep you by my side with my superhuman might
Kryptonite
I really don’t mind what happens now and then
As long as you’ll be my friend at the end

Listen to it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xPU8OAjjS4k

And I think this is a good name. I feel like superman on some days but can be destroyed too. Like everyone else, I have that which can destroy me (my kryptonites) and things that can make me feel like superman too.

Hope you enjoy reading the rants that will follow :)
