and while I am not a fan of the military industrial complex today, I do know that many of our tax dollars have been spend developing technologies that support us in a million different ways in the civilian sector, from better tires and sunglasses, to smaller batteries and higher capacity computers in smaller containers, to improvements in prosthetics and other medical applications. So I know that the inspiration has a very long reach.
