Life After Prison: Norman Brown
The Obama White House
708

I was going to respond to this story by saying “Thank you” to President Obama and his team/staff for releasing this man until I read that it took 5 years from the man’s application to do it. In DC, 5 years may seem reasonable, but it’s not reasonable…it’s ridiculous. I’m also wondering if the President had his staff attempt to identify the many other people across the country who are incarcerated due to the same or similar law(s) so they could be assisted and released as well? If yes, then a huge “thank you” is certainly due; if no, then why would the White House broadcast and boast about releasing one man while ignoring the many others who are incarcerated unjustly? Surely no one in the White House can be proud of that.
