Kudo card and Kudo’s Wall

When I first discussed this in our company it was seen as a good thing until the money got involved since there is a strict rules and regulation around it not mentioning the approvals for the same. So we decided to something different which doesn’t have a monetary value attached to it and it would be the choice of the team member to decide what they want to do in a creative time.

Employees can’t be always motivated with money, of course it is basic to get the job done in first place but it can’t take people further more than the basic level of achievement. When we want our team to move away from the money side we need a different motivator and to do it Kudos card from Management3.0 came very handy to help us.

Teams love appreciating and appreciated when a kudos was done, this pushed them to do more enjoyable things. Work wasn’t anymore unhappy place for some as culture started to change from deliver, deliver on products to deliver-pause-appreciate and improve. When someone gets appreciated they put extra care and motivated so that they don’t let the appreciating person down.

Implementing Kudos card for us was very easy, visit the Management3.0 website, download the pdf version and started using it. Since our team is global and widespread we used our Miro board as a Kudos wall for the same, each session starts with the looking at the kudos wall…
