Released in early 2019, the Einstein Analytics and Discovery Consultant exam tests experience with end to end Einstein Analytics implementations — everything from dataflows to dashboard design and even some Einstein Discovery concepts.

As a newer exam, it’s hard to study for since there are limited resources published so I thought I’d distribute my study plan and notes as I work through the exam topics.

Study Schedule

To prepare for the exam I ordered the topics by weight and spread out the schedule over a quarter (dates in 2019):

I plan on spending roughly two weeks per topic studying (although only a week on Administration!) and finish out by completing the two Einstein Superbadges on Trailhead just prior to taking the exam. I always start out by registering for my exam before I start studying — something about the impending doom of the exam date helps me focus.

Format

I’m a ̶b̶i̶t̶ ̶c̶r̶a̶z̶y̶ fan of structure, so for each section I’ve identified a series of resources to run through for each topic:

  1. Relevant badges from the Learn Einstein Analytics Plus Trailmix
  2. Relevant sections from the Einstein Learning Map
  3. Documentation referenced in the Exam Guide
  4. External resources: Blogs/YouTube/etc.

Each subsequent post I make for the topics will include links to the resources I use as well as my summarized notes.

Topic Posts

As I finish articles I will link them below:

Happy studying!
