Love this idea and am excited to see it in action! I use dribbble all the time for inspiration and find a lot of apps that look great, but make absolutely no sense in practice. Thus I have lots of unused apps on my phone for real-world inspo! Nothing wrong with ‘fake’ work at all, but it serves an entirely different purpose.
Great work Kshitij Choudhary 🎉🎉. You have done an amazing job. Though I’ve not tried the product yet. But I can foresee the impact that this project will create in the future. I would love to contribute to this project in any way possible.
Great idea. This has been my concern for a while. Design is solving problem. FULL STOP. If you are not solving problems (real world problems) then you are designing for yourselves. How to make that home screen branded, speak to your user base and make the CEO happy? Show me the thinking behind that and then show me that screen!
Looks great. The model is a bit weird and it’s reliant on the recruiters. Hope you succeed though! Good luck and I’ve added my mail to the list :)
It’s hard or almost impossible to get clients without a portfolio. So new designers just starting out don’t have much choice other than to showcase “fake” work as they ave no published work. So, in my opinion “fake” work is not necessarily bad. I do agree with you that 20+ postings a day is unrealistic and probably someone scamming the system.
