Last Friday my groupmates and I watched a movie. We were tired and had a very hard week, so romantic comedy was just right for a break.

This is a story about women who have big and loud family. Also, her relatives respect traditions. And her father, who is the head of the family, is very patriotic Greek.

So, in the begining Toula is her family’s black sheep. She is 30 years old, unmarried and she doesn’t really want to give birth to children and follow the path of her parents.

But everything changes when she decide to go to college and get her own job. Independens makes her happier.

After some time, she meets a man and falls in love with him. And here the problems begin. Her family at first does not accept her non-Greek guy at all.

Ian’s patience and a sense of humor allow him to gradually make friends with the whole extended family of Toula.
