Amazing! Beyond FileCoin or similar, I didn’t know that people were already working on different parts of the stack on blockchain. I’m wondering, though, if blockchain (including the various technologies built on top of it that you listed above) is ready to scale to the capabilities required by Big Data. Specifically, there are volume limitations to Bitcoin and Ethereum networks as it stands. Even with coming improvements (e.g. Metropolis), is any network ready to handle the millions or billions of events/transactions per second required for a truly distributed and shared database of data? Can we query those events efficiently like we can today with Big Data databases like HDFS? What are the strategies here?
