A First Amendment For Social Platforms

Thanks for this article. I’ll remind everyone that each and every user of an online platform has to opt-in, in other words, they sign-up. Among the legalese they scroll through are terms of continued participation where requirements for civility, etc. are detailed. Anyone who is accused of violating these terms and subsequently removed can appeal in whatever system the platform has established. Losing their appeal, they are out — for violating the rules.

If one does not like the restrictions of the platform, take your speech elsewhere, or behave well enough to get a chance to discuss loosening the rules.
