Three superlatives 👑

If we execute well, Snackpass is positioned to achieve three superlatives.

The most widely used ecommerce app of all time.

Anyone who is a Snackpass user purchases more frequently on Snackpass than any other app. That’s the nature of food, and the nature of pickup. Food is the ultimate marketplace: the first marketplace in history and the last.

Usage on Snackpass is unprecedented when you compare Yale and Brown numbers with any other food app. Thanks to our pickup positioning, we have a chance to not only be the most widely used food app, but most widely used ecommerce app of all time.

The first truly social ecommerce app.

Social is integrated in a way that is authentic and makes sense. Not a gimmick. Gifting is a win for the user, the friend, the restaurant (and the platform).

Fundamentally it makes sense for the restaurant to pay for their customers to refer friends.

Gifting is a platform that can be extended. For example, Snackmart is a three way interaction that extends c2c gifting to b2c. It’s a pure win win win for users, marketers and restaurants.

We have a chance to pioneer the first truly social ecommerce platform at scale.

The ultimate local app

Most local is analog (you wait in line, you see ads on billboards, you pay with credit card). Food is the best entry point for tech into local because it is the most frequently purchased product category by a wide margin.

We start by letting you skip the line.

But soon we’ll help you order in stores with kiosk and dine in, and after that we’ll provide services for stores, and help people launch their own stores built on our platform via modular services and API’s.

We can eventually use this platform to create our own stores and build an end to end experience.

And we’ll eventually be the amazon for everything local — everything around you.
