Just a couple of weeks ago the current UFC lightweight champion, Conor McGregor posted a video of him practicing and showing off his boxing skills, followed by a demand of $100 million for his fight against Floyd Mayweather. It is now the boxing legends turn to speak up. In his recent appearance in Liverpool, England, Mayweather taunted McGregor and challenged him to the fight in June. He commented “For Conor McGregor, I’m coming out of retirement — just to fight Conor McGregor,”

“I don’t want to hear no more excuses about the money [or] about the UFC. Sign the paper with the UFC, so you can fight me in June. Simple and plain. Let’s fight in June.”

This remark is following what Mayweather said in an interview with ESPN just a couple of weeks ago. He said earlier “I don’t know if it’s going to happen. If Conor McGregor really wants the fight to happen, stop blowing smoke up everybody’s ass and sign the paper.”

Mayweather says that among him and McGregor, he is the primary draw. It seems like Mayweather’s position at the fight is becoming firm now. The former boxing champ holds a record of 49 wins and 0 loss streak. He took retirement in late 2015 and hasn’t fought since then. But, he seems quite ready to fight McGregor.

Also, Aaron Kaufman, the self-taught mechanic and the Discovery Network star has bid farewell to the popular Fast N Loud show and the Gas Monkey Garage. He is still in right terms with Richard Rawlings as the Gas Monkey team. Read more about the story here Aaron Kaufman’s plans for the future.

Coming back to the topic, there have been loads of talks and words war between Mayweather and McGregor sides since the rumors about the crossover fight surfaced. In fact, it’s just the words wars that happening right now. The details about the actual fight are still vague. There are lots of factors affecting the fight at present. The biggest hurdle is that Dana White couldn’t seem to bring both the fighters to right terms regarding their fee for the fight. Dana White earlier publically offered both the fighter $25 million each. But, many believe that there is no way Mayweather will come down to $25 million after he originally $100 million.

Apart from this, there are other factors like McGregor is under a strict contract with UFC, which is also affecting somewhere from making the fight happen.
