Thanks for sharing. I wrote something similar on Medium about 20 months ago regarding my own challenges. (See my profile on Medium for the article.) ADHD was one of them.

Your mention of acing exams in spite of your difficulties makes me think that you might be gifted. I was recently diagnosed as such after consulting at a clinic specialized in ADHD. ADHD, anxiety, and burnout are typical “side effects” of gifted children and adults as they attempt to fit in to a world for which they are wired differently.

I started Vyvanse recently as well and it has made a huge difference relative to the ADHD symptoms I was experiencing. Now I am working on how to structure my personal and professional lives to make the most of the giftedness diagnostic.
