Should you be passionate about your startup’s industry? This article argues not necessarily — but suggests you should think about to become passionate about the way you work. Company of the week:

Wonderschool(just raised Series A) is a platform where educators and childcare providers can start and manage pre-school programs out of their homes. A few things I love about this startup: (1) childcare is expensive and a reason some of my peers are delaying parenthood (2) this company is creating a new market for micro-entrepreneurs in education and (3) they’ll benefit from strong Word of Mouth among happy parents resulting in a lower cost of customer acquisition over time. This contributes to my thesis that more and more people are seeking self-employment and startups like Wonderschool empower them to do so.
