Over the past two weeks, the KubeCoin development team has embarked on a significant rebuild of our development framework. This initiative was primarily aimed at enhancing the integration among the various services we offer. A crucial part of this phase involved establishing a comprehensive development roadmap, leading to the creation of a cryptocurrency-based payment gateway. This gateway will leverage Kube as the driving force — the “gas” — powering our ecosystem.
The roadmap’s formulation marked the beginning of a series of pivotal developments. We dedicated substantial efforts to draft multiple smart contracts. Our goal was to identify which configurations best align with our community’s needs while preserving the value of the Kube token and ensuring the financial stability of the ecosystem. These contracts are integral to our new staking system, which is designed to adapt dynamically to the evolving demands and expectations of our users.
In addition to software development, we’ve made significant hardware strides by configuring a new machine dedicated entirely to the testing phase. This setup allows us to rigorously test the smart contracts, particularly those involving interactions within the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) ecosystem.
