Ahh, it’s good to know more of the story.

I know of a couple of people who got MtGox’d, and even some who lost money from the Cryptsy collapse.

I heard that to install a Bitcoin wallet and download the blockchain is a 130GB+ download that takes a week with good Internet and you want an SSD because it’s quite drive intensive.
I’m interested in what’ll happen with the Segwit related changes on the 1st of August. Sounds like increasing the block size will make the requirements even larger.

Would you put your money on Etherium? It looks like it’s now #2 in market cap and given the speed, lower transaction costs and amazing variety of technologies being built on top of it there seems to be a lot of potential.
