Several weeks ago, a security flaw in the Koinos blockchain software was discovered by an anonymous developer. CTO Steve Gerbino confirmed the existence of the flaw and announced that Koinos Group will begin to immediately work on a security patch that will require a governance vote before it is accepted and applied to the chain using on-chain governance.
Although the specific details of the patch will not be made public until after the patch has been applied, we believe that Koinos Group has continuously demonstrated its support for the success of the Koinos Blockchain.
