Our Mission

We make smartphones smarter

“Mobile phones know where you are, what you are doing, who you are communicating with and so much more. Yet most applications and the devices themselves ignore that information. Agent is an app that leverages that context in an intuitive way that takes intelligent and meaningful actions for the user.”
Rich Miner, co-founder Android.

Our goal is to make you 10% more productive per day.

How do we do this? We use sensors to figure out what you’re doing and use that context to augment your experience throughout the day.

Here’s what happens now. You’re sleeping at night and forget to silence your phone, and then you’re woken up by an unwanted notification. You get up in the morning but forget to unsilence your phone, and end up missing an important call.

You’re driving to work when somebody texts you, and you end up texting back, endangering yourself and others on the road. As the day wears on, you notice your battery dying, which leaves you fiddling with settings until you can get to a charger.

Agent solves these scenarios by knowing what you’re doing and dynamically changing your phone’s behavior based off that context.

We live in a world where our smartphones have empowered us to be more productive throughout the day. But yet, they have also added complexity, and unfortunately, a good deal of stress to our lives.

Our goal is to reduce that stress and free up those precious brain cycles for more important things, like creativity.

When you interact with hundreds of apps every day, opportunities arise to automate those interactions. Imagine a world where Agent purchases your coffee each morning as you step into your favorite coffee shop, or summons a car before your next meeting.

Imagine a world where Agent lets the important people in your life know that your phone’s about to die or that you’re stuck in traffic on the way home. Imagine if Agent just knew when you didn’t want to be disturbed.

Our smartphones to date have done a poor job at knowing our context. The next evolution of smartphone software will have contextual computing at its core. Knowing where you are, who you are with and what you’re doing will become fundamental to delivering the next generation of user experiences.

We had our start at context based automation with our app Trigger. Users run over a million actions every day via self-built automation rules, and have executed over 200M actions in total.

We distilled this data to build Agent.

Over time, Agent becomes better at making your phone behave the right way at the right time. It surfaces what you need, and acts on your behalf.

After all, how useful is software when you’re always having to tell it what to do?
