Null Hypothesis(Ho): The null hypothesis predicts no difference from an experimental variable or we can say it is the claim that is assumed to be true initially. It states that there is no difference, or change, or effect.

Example: We have a man proposing marriage to a woman who is a statistician. Before his proposal, they were not engaged to be married. In the response to the proposal, she replied ‘No’.i.e there is no difference or change. Ho: Both are not engaged to be married.

Null Hypothesis

Alternative Hypothesis(Ha): When there is a change or difference or effect on the statement of Null Hypothesis that will be known as an Alternate Hypothesis. It is the complement of a null hypothesis.

Example: In the example of the Null Hypothesis, a woman has not accepted the proposal. Again, a man tried to propose her and she replied ‘yes’ i.e. she rejected the Null Hypothesis and She has changed her mindset to engaged to be married.i.e.Ha: Both are engaged to be married.
