Borders are for Homo Sapiens:

In a world where every one wants to achieve greater heights every day they wake up from sleep they actually forget what they are running after and are still not awake from their sleep. Looking at the world order right now where Mr Trump wants to build a wall on the border of USA and Mexico, Syrian refugees leaving their homeland for safe havens in EU, still not able to find even a remote corner in the jungle(on the French border Calais) so to speak which is being destroyed on the warning’s of “Brexit”. Everything boils down to the safety of the people who we think are closest to us.

When were these border’s created ?

The main cause of creation of border’s is man’s greed. Till the time there was no barter known to man all they knew was to gather and hunt for their sustenance. Once the capitalist in them saw the opportunity to do things with exchange which they themselves could not do, they found it interesting and soon the zeal to learn new avenues took over. With time they realized that land is the most precious of resources which can be used accrue their profits.

The borders came into being and the fights with them all around the world. We have witnessed 2 World wars viz. 1914–1918 and 1939–1945 for world supremacy. The world is ever so fragmented even when the world is connected via the blazing internet.

What it means for the human race ?

A day is going to come when there is a need for unity against a calamity which has no one has ever seen, on that day even if the human race want to be united they will not be able to do so because of the divides that would have been created over centuries for their own greed. The human race is oblivious to this facet of life that “Everything has an expiry”. Practice makes one perfect, the Anthropocene epoch have started where everything is made by humans for humans even borders. Only cognizance of our short comings can make us move in a direction of improvement which is a long shot given the circumstances that are prevailing right now.

The way forward

The only solution to the perpetuating divisive acts of the people in power can be found out by the the people who are ruled by them (that is all of us). what kind of a world are we leaving behind for our future generations : Earth, any other planet or for that matter even a space ship where the borders are going to be erected even before humans reach there. Greed is insatiable even if it consumes oneself. This is the time when we should wake up from our sleep and wake to the need of the hour.
