Its an iconic restaurant in Matunga which has stood the test of time. The popularity of this place can be seen by the crowd waiting to get a seat Personal Experience : I was among such crowd today at 6 a.m. in the morning with my cousins. We had to wait for 45 minutes outside. There was one person who wrote our name in the list and said that it will take 45 minutes. It was pretty organised. We didn’t mind waiting because the food was finger licking good. We ordered masala dosa, mysore masala dosa, medu vada, rawa mysore masala dosa and onion uthappa. Every dish that we had was amazing as usual. We ended our meal with a piping hot filter kaapi(coffee). After having so much food we were shocked to see the bill which was not more than 500 Rs. If you havent tried this restaurant then pick a date and do give this place a visit.

Owned by Rajinder Singh, who is a retired defense personnel from the Indian Navy, this food stall has been at the current location for 37 years. Over the years, his sons, Gurdish and Anand, took over.

S. Rajinder Singh had taken part in the 1967 & 1971 Indo-Pak war, later he got Medically Board out from Indian Navy. In 1975, the Government of India gave him the stall at Linking Road.
