  2. Additional Subjects: Consider taking Computer Science as an optional subject if available.

Step 2: Preparation for Entrance Exams

  1. Competitive Exams: Prepare for engineering entrance exams like JEE Main, JEE Advanced, BITSAT, VITEEE, etc. These exams are crucial for getting into reputed engineering colleges.
  2. Coaching Classes: Join coaching institutes if necessary, as they provide structured preparation for these competitive exams.

Step 3: Undergraduate Education (Bachelor’s Degree)

  1. Entrance Exams: Clear the entrance exams and secure admission to a good engineering college.
  2. Course Selection: Enroll in a B.Tech/B.E. program in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) or Information Technology (IT).
  3. Academic Life: Make sure to concentrate on your main subjects, attend classes regularly, and participate in extracurricular activities you enjoy.

Step 4: Key Focus Areas During Academics

To excel in your academic journey and prepare for a career in software development, focus on mastering the following subjects as early as possible:
