Art, Fashion and Architecture

Catherine Sodërberg
Catherine is an architect by training with two plus years of experience in the fashion and jewelry design field. She is a graduate of Harvard University’s School of Design, where she pursued a Master’s Degree in Architecture specializing in new materials investigation and computer aided design fabrication. Her work explores fabrication processes such as robotically wound carbon and glass fiber structures, 3D digital woven textiles for light structures, and 3D printed rigid and soft multi-material structures.

“Although my architectural academic schooling has been one of pushing the boundaries and spatial relationships between the body and the space it inhabits, a current interest of mine is the possibility of spatial existence at the smaller one to one scale- an existence of spatial dimensionality in close relationship to the body through wearables.”
