Remembering Srinivasan

He taught me physics. At that time he was one of those teachers who would teach with so much passion. In 9th grade, he sat and corrected every answer paper word by word and gave very strict marks. I was the only one in the class to score a pass mark. That gave me the confidence that whatever I understood and wrote was correct and better than most other students in my class. When I drew 5000 odd pictures on a post card, he took it with himself and checked with sources whether it could be considered a record. Without him, I would not have scored a 197/200 and a 46.67/50.00 in physics. The sad truth was, I never met him after 9th.
