The Livio AI is different from its competitors is its ability to incorporate AI to make the technology multifunctional. For example, they can function as Bluetooth headphones, locate your lost phone, transcribe conversations you’ve had to words for later reference, and many other incredible features! Personally, I was most interested in its ability to function as an activity tracker. Livio AI now monitors the activity and engagement of its users. All data collected is transferred to your smartphone for your personal use. Hearing Tracker rated these hearing aids 3.3 stars out of 5 and highlighted the uniqueness of the technological innovation of the product.
I see the Livio Ai hearing aid as the first of its kind and a leader of innovation. This product allows us a glimpse into the future of how technology will become increasingly intertwined. I see more companies following this trend and expect to see even more development as competition continues to drive creativity. This may negatively impact society by furthering a culture where we are connected by technology. Some may have a desire to disconnect and have a hearing aid that just works as a hearing aid, so a continued dependence on technology may be ultimately detrimental. If that wasn’t a concern for the buyer then I see this as an overall positive change to the hearing aid market.
