The future of retail is the end of wholesale! It’s all about staging, it’s all about entertainment and service. But when you want to see somebody performing in a theater, in a circus, wherever, you have to pay an entrance fee upfront. Will consumers accept these fees before they get advice, before they try on a pair of shoes and before they leave to order online?

Will brands understand that that roles will change, that they’ll become clients and retailers their suppliers, their service suppliers?
