The Office. Parks & Rec. Duck Dynasty. It was a golden era of TV comedy. And now… it’s over.

Until now, that is! The team at Classy Llama has decided it’s time to take workplace comedy to the next level with a fusion of all the things we love best about its predecessors along with some of our own flair. We’re proud to present: Llama Nation, Heightened Reality.

I know, I know. It’s hard to believe that another workplace comedy could strike a comedic chord after so many have already been stricken in that genre. And that’s why we’ve made not one, but THREE pilot episodes, so you can judge for yourselves!

Without Further Ado, The Pilot Episodes!

Pilot Episode 2: Goodbye, Gordon

Will We Make More Episodes?

This was fun to make. Maybe even fun enough to make more! But maybe not. If you enjoy the pilots and would like to see more, feel free to share it with others. Maybe if enough people like it and share it, we’ll decide it’s worth the time and effort to make more. On the other hand, if you hate them, you can post nasty messages on our YouTube channel so we know that this was a terrible idea, and we should never produce garbage like this again. Either way, we appreciate your honest feedback.

It’s Heightened Reality

The show lives in a parallel universe to a real company (Classy Llama) with real employees in Springfield, Missouri, a mid-sized city cozily nestled in the knee pit of the Midwest! The show takes actual events and retells them with a little stretching and massaging. The actual events are often funny without any doctoring, but with a few adjustments, it’s pure comedy magic.

Feline the Goat is a registered human therapist.

We Use Real Employees in the Show

These aren’t professional actors. They’re current and past employees of Classy Llama and other companies held under the broader Llama Nation organization. Apparently, it doesn’t take trained actors to make a great comedy!

Jesse Tyler owns his role as a former Millennial employee.

We Shoot the Show in the Actual Office, Not in a Studio

It’s all happening on location while people do real work on real computers at 2215 West Chesterfield Boulevard in Springfield!

Kurt tries to convince Paul of another one of his (many) “great” ideas.

It’s Unscripted

The show runs purely off of a rough outline of the flow of each episode, but what happens in each scene is the product of in-the-moment collaboration and creativity, which adds a special candor to the show.

Our President, Paul, scolds our CEO, Kurt, in a rare moment of overt frustration.

It’s Clean and Family-Friendly

Duck Dynasty whet our appetite for a really good comedy series that we can watch with the whole family, so that’s core to this project, because we need more of that kind of goodness! We are committed to making something that everyone can watch without feeling uncomfortable with the mature character of some of the content.

Kurt’s Executive Assistant, Jared, shows Kevin the lost art of goat speak.

Our Roots Run Deep

The why behind this has a lot more to do with family and joy than anything else. We genuinely want to see more entertainment content that the whole family can enjoy that creates pure goodness in this world. So if it tickles your funny bone, share those laughs with your friends!
