The jumpstart of a good day

The alarm rings at 4 am, my room looks like a mayhem, I stretch my back, brush my teeth, as the floor wavers beneath. I love the mornings I really do, even if I sleep for just an hour or two, I love the softness and freshness, the easy flow, shit I’m late - I’ll take my coffee to go.
I arrive at the airport, feeling anxious for the trip as I forget to give the cab driver a tip. Got my tickets I head for the security, for the x-ray to scan my souls purity. No liquids allowed so I chug my proud, at least they can’t ban my thoughts if I don’t say them out loud.
I board the plane at last, judging the people in the first class. I love my seat because it’s window, turn my sweatshirt into a pillow. As I fall asleep I’m reminded of the code — seatbelt, tray table, airplane mode, I cross my thighs smile at the sunrise, close my eyes and let the time fly.
