Its interesting to see the various types of maps being laid out here. This can also be a great tool to bring different teams within a firm together by allowing the different teams to sketch the maps that they are comfortable with (UX designers can do empathy maps, Engineers can do Systems Map, and so on). Once this is done, overlaying all these maps one above the other can help all the different teams to identify user pain points at different stages and can foster a discussion to collectively tackle the problem.
