Thanks for reading! In my case, I tend to do what you talk about for your upcoming Blades game: I show an unlabelled clock with a title, then fill it in as things progress.

Now, I don’t show every clock. My characters shouldn’t know about the Grand Vizier’s conspiracy; after all, that would defeat the purpose. Now, as that clock progresses, they might find clues to that plot, and maybe at some point they’ll have all the pieces to put together. Then I might reveal the clock.
