The liquidity what if? Our alternative to employee options/equity grants

Are the example calculations not incorrect because they start counting at hire instead of one year after hire? I mean, a person who worked at Basecamp for two years should get only one unit because they’ve worked one year past their first year, right?. Three-and-a-half years, two units. Four years, three units. Five years, four units. Six years, five units. Seven years, five units, etc.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
