Please Stop The Vulgarities

For all the writers who think dropping f-bombs and cuss words in headlines and articles makes you appear edgy, sophisticated and hip, guess what? You’re just vulgar, period.

Your use of raw expletives deletes you from serious and intelligent discourse. Stop relying on vulgarities to capture an audience. Your obscenity portrays you as an adolescent with poor taste and questionable judgment.

Please bring your opinions into adulthood. If you have something to say, then write it like an intelligent adult. Use your way with words to craft clever, smart, captivating headlines and content. Your opinion deserve better–perhaps.

Be On-Purpose!
